Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in legal proceedings.
- Conduct thorough case investigations to identify potential defendants.
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings and to stay updated on current laws and interpretations.
- Manage all phases of the litigation process, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Proven track record in handling motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death cases.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong case management skills, with the ability to handle a large case load and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience conducting and defending depositions.
- Experience in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successful settlements.
